Inclusion News People UK

UK – The Market Research Society (MRS) is helping to set up a network for researchers with physical disabilities or who are neurodiverse.

MRS Unlimited has been formed by MRS Diversity, Inclusion and Equality members Vanella Jackson, chief executive of Hall & Partners, and Steve Lacey, founder of The Outsiders.

The network will seek to recruit interested researchers to join and help define MRS Unlimited’s aims and objectives.

Lacey said: “As a person with a physical disability and who is neurodivergent, I am absolutely delighted to be part of this wonderful group which will drive change and break down walls that desperately need to be pulled down.”

Jackson said: “We already have a fabulous group of volunteers, all with a hungry ambition to create a difference to the opportunities and inclusion of those with disabilities, seen and unseen.

“We aspire to barrier-free inclusion and are committed to creating real change, for our industry, wider business and for society as a whole.”

Jane Frost, chief executive of MRS, said: “It is wonderful that members of the MRS Equalities Diversity and Inclusion Council are really stepping up and leading the development of this initiative. I am hoping this network will have all the vibrancy and success of MRSPride.”
