Accenture buys enterprise planning consultancy Allitix

US – Accenture has acquired consulting and technology company Allitix, which specialises in financial planning and analysis, sales performance management and supply chain.

The acquisition strengthen’s Accenture’s services in connected planning, through Anaplan, a platform used by organisations to see, plan and lead business outcomes.

Founded in 2017, Allitix is headquartered in Irvine, California and is an Anaplan partner. The company offers Anaplan-based solutions across finance, sales, supply chain, and human resources functions, particularly in the manufacturing, consumer, technology, media and telecom and financial services sectors.

Through the deal, Accenture will also boost its ability to help clients standardise planning practices across business functions and increase their data-based decision making.

“Demand for connected enterprise planning is on the rise, given its ability to unlock business value and spur total enterprise reinvention,” said David Leckstein, senior managing director and lead, Americas Technology at Accenture. “Allitix’s highly skilled talent, deep domain expertise, and agile approach to implementation complements our broader digital capabilities and further expands our ability to deliver integrated enterprise planning transformations for our clients that drive better, faster insights and bottom-line value.”

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mark Ishikawa, founder and managing partner, Allitix, said the combination with Accenture would  “help clients navigate complex planning environments and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market”.
