US— Marketing services firm Acxiom has appointed Phil Mui to fill the newly created role of chief product and engineering officer.
Mui was last at Google Analytics where he held the role of group product manager. At Acxiom, he will report to CEO Scott Howe and manage a team of more than 750 people while leading the strategic direction, development and management of the firm’s product management and engineering functions.
Howe said: “Phil is the capstone for our strategic initiatives. His vision, brilliance and extensive career accomplishments are exactly what Acxiom needs to accelerate our ability to deliver game-changing, client-centric solutions that will help our clients achieve greater success.”
Before his time with Google, Mui held leadership roles at the Stanford Functional Genomics Facility, Oracle Corporation, Microsoft and Lycos.
