US— Harris Interactive’s interim president and CEO Al Angrisani has signed a new contract to lead the company through to June 2014.
Angrisani (pictured) served as president of the company between 2002 and 2004 but rejoined the company last June to replace the incumbent Kimberley Till and lead a turnaround of the beleaguered business.
Since his appointment the firm has scaled back its UK operations and cut 50 jobs and shut down its operations in Asia Pacific. In its last set of results, for the second quarter of fiscal 2012, Harris saw its revenue fall 13% but Angrisani highlighted improvements to the firm’s operating income and margin as evidence that his plan was making progress.
Harris chairman Howard Shecter said: “Al’s leadership has already had a tremendous impact on the company and is critical to our ability to successfully execute the turnaround programme.”
