BELGIUM – Data collection, management and monetisation group Bilendi has announced its acquisition of Ivox Bvba, an online panel company in Belgium.
Ivox was founded in 2004 and its team of 16 comprises experts from the University of Leuven. According to Bilendi's press release (containing unaudited figures), Ivox recorded a turnover of €2.3m in 2016 and an operating profit of €0.35m.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Steven Deketelaere, founder (pictured), remains a consultant for Ivox, and Hans Verhoeven, managing director, will manage the company’s integration with the Bilendi Group.
"As specialists in digital services for market research, we are proud to join the Bilendi Group," Deketelaere and Verhoeven said in a joint statement. "Ivox will benefit from access to all Bilendi’s panels and the Group’s technologies that perfectly meet the expectations of our clients."
With this acquisition, the Bilendi group is now established in 12 countries with more than 2.2 million panellists.
