US — Frank N Magid Associates has appointed media research industry veterans Mike Bloxham and Debby Ruth to jointly head its newly-formed national television and video practice.
Bloxham was most recently with the Media Behavior Institute, the company responsible for bringing the UK’s Touchpoints multi-media usage survey to the US. He also led research initiatives for the Center for Media Design at Ball State University.
Ruth, meanwhile, is credited with being an early innovator in advanced advertising techniques and developing advertising opportunities in video-on-demand in her time with Cox Media. She also worked with Magid on consumer receptiveness to, and recall of, on-demand advertising, as well as a review of media consumption in the millennial generation.
