UK — BPRI founder Jonathan Shingleton has been appointed chair of research-based consultancy Penn Schoen Berland (PSB) EMEA.
PSB is part of the WPP group of companies, to which Shingleton sold BPRI in 2003. BPRI has since been rebranded as Millward Brown Corporate.
Shingleton left BPRI in 2007 to become a special adviser to Oxford Intelligence, before setting up a new business, Giraffe Research & Consulting, in 2009. That company was officially dissolved last year.
In his new role with PSB, Shingleton will oversee the company’s global marketing efforts and European business. He will report to Jay Leveton, PSB’s chief executive officer.
PSB global chair Don Baer said: “Jonathan will be a strong leader for Penn Schoen Berland across the EMEA region given his proven track record of success providing strategic research consulting to businesses clients.”
