US— Texas-based customer analytics firm Buxton has agreed a data-sharing deal with Canadian segmentation and real estate site analysis firm Environics Analytics.
Charles Wetzel
Under the terms of the deal, Buxton’s US customers will be given access to Environics’ pool of more than 10,000 variables on Canadian consumer demographics and behaviour for use in site analysis and other activities.
The information will also be available in the Canadian version of Buxton’s Micromarketer desktop platform, which is designed to help market analysts create and refine their growth and business strategies.
Buxton’s president and COO Charles Wetzel (pictured) said: “Partnering with EA offers Buxton a strategic advantage, giving us the opportunity to equip our clients with the tools and data they need to successfully grow and develop their services beyond the US, into Canada.”
Environics president Jan Kestle added: “US businesses looking at expansion opportunities in Canada will benefit from this partnership that capitalises on the strengths of two leading marketing analytics companies.”
