HONG KONG — Cido has promoted Hong Kong director of projects Ayaz Akhtar to managing director.
In the new role, Akhtar will be responsible for leading the Cido Hong Kong team and for multi-country research projects across Asia.
Cido Asia Pacific managing director Chris Farquhar said: “Ayaz is especially suited to the role, having a background in both operations and client service leadership roles at senior levels.
“The promotion will also provide Cido’s Hong Kong business with the leadership talent for the next stage of its growth, while enabling Cido’s regional management to focus their energies on continuing the company’s strategic growth across Asia.”
Akhtar joined Cido Hong Kong in 2013, following stints with Lightspeed Research Kantar, the RONIN Corporation and Synovate.
