US— Convio, which provides fundraising services to non-profit organisations, has agreed to acquire analytics, predictive modelling and database marketing agency StrategicOne in a deal worth at least $5m.
Convio will pay $5m in cash up front, with a further $1m dependent on meeting performance targets over the next three years. StrategicOne’s capabilities will be added to Convio’s fundraising software and service offerings, and its technology used in the gathering, modelling and integration of fundraising and donor information.
Gene Austin, Convio’s CEO said: “The experience and expertise of the StrategicOne team combined with our increased investment in… engagement solutions further strengthens Convio’s position in helping large non-profits maximise results.”
StrategicOne reported total revenue of £2m in 2010.
