US— InsightExpress has appointed Matt Butner as vice president and director of media and brand research, charged with providing strategic research recommendations and thought leadership to clients.
Butner (pictured) will also be responsible for overseeing the methodological design and analytics used in the firm’s research offerings.
He joins the firm from ad agency Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, where he was director of analytics and oversaw the company’s data analytics capabilities. Butner also had a spell as data strategist manager at McCann-Erickson.
InsightExpress SVP and chief research officer Marc Ryan said: “Matt’s outstanding credentials as well as his knowledge of and passion for measurement and optimisation will undoubtedly enhance our development and delivery of advanced analytic capabilities in support of advertising and brand communications research.”
