US — New York-based Insight Research Group has hired Diageo’s former vice president of consumer planning to lead insights and strategy.
Dawn Henry joins the firm in the new role of senior vice president of insights and strategy.
Henry will be responsible for developing the insight team and managing projects and client relationships. Joint CEO Boaz Mourad said she will be “instrumental in helping ensure that we continue to provide our clients with the creative thinking and in-depth analysis Insight Research Group is known for”.
At Diageo Henry led a team of consumer insight directors, and her work involved developing best practice in insight development and research. Prior to that she was with Saatchi & Saatchi.
The agency also recently hired Perry Baldwin in the role of chief possibility officer.
