US — IT market analyst Gartner has posted double-digit increases in fourth-quarter and full-year revenue.
Its research business was up 14% to $300.2m in the final three months of the year. Consulting work was down 8% to $81.9m, however events grew 21% to $92.6m.
For the full-year, research revenue climbed 12% to $1.1bn, consulting revenue was down 1% to $304.9m and events revenue was up 17% to $173.8m.
Net income for the business as a whole increased 21% to $165.9m.
Gartner CEO Gene Hall (pictured) said: “Our 2012 results continued our trend of consistent, outstanding performance.”
