UK— Pearson Education and Edexcel have contracted Globalpark to set up an online community of more than 5,500 teachers.
The educational publisher and awarding body will use the community to drive product development and track purchasing patterns among members.
As well as providing feedback on Pearson’s products, community members will provide Pearson with insight into their institution’s curriculum development.
Beatrice Ramelle-Rigollet, market research manager at Edexcel, said: “Globalpark has helped us revolutionise the the way we communicate with our customers, allowing us to drive product innovation in collaboration with the teaching community. Working with Globalpark has enabled us to gain regular access to our core customers to carry out highly sophisticated and cost-effective research that drives decision-making at Pearson and Edexcel.”
Globalpark UK’s managing director, Alex Wilke (pictured), said the firm was “proud of our small part in helping improve the education and testing community”.
