US— Former Nielsen Media Research and Arbitron CEOs John Dimling and Steve Morris have joined the board at Innerscope, which uses biometrics and neuroscience in media research.
Dimling, who was also president and chairman at Nielsen, has joined the firm’s board of directors while Morris (pictured), who was also Arbitron’s former president and chairman, will serve on the board of advisors.
Under Dimling’s leadership between 1985 and 2001 Nielsen introduced the people meter to measure TV ratings while Morris spent 17 years at Arbitron and led the transition from diary-based radio audience measurement to the electronic Portable People Meters (PPM).
Innerscope CEO and co-founder Carl Marci said: “John and Steve are clear industry leaders, known for research innovation and for business growth. Their knowledge and insights will guide us as we grow by anticipating customer needs, identifying market demands and responding quickly with new products and services.”
