UK— Experience design agency Foolproof has acquired Singapore-based user experience firm One to One Global. UK-based Foolproof said that One to One would serve as an operational hub in Asia Pacific as it looks to expand in the region.
Foolproof is already active in 20 markets, including some in Asia, and counts brands including HSBC, Lloyds TSB and RS Components as clients.
One to One Global, whose client roster includes PayPal, Shell, Skype and Nokia, will become known as Foolproof (SG). Evelyn Lee will remain with the firm as director.
Foolproof co-founder Peter Ballard (pictured) said: “This really is an exciting time for the user experience market in Singapore and Asia as a whole. Businesses are increasingly turning to user experience as a means of gaining competitive advantage. By adding a local team in Asia, Foolproof acquires valuable knowledge, experience and an appreciation for regional nuances, all of which are essential for optimising user experiences in local markets.”
