UK— Louise Ainsworth, former Nielsen SVP and MD EMEA for Nielsen Online, has been named as the new Warc CEO. She will take up the role on 3 July, the advetising intelligence body has confirmed.
A former BBC and Shell marketer, Ainsworth replaces Rufus Olins, who left the firm last November. At Nielsen she was responsible for the development and international roll-out of advertising effectiveness tool Brand Effect and was a former MD EMEA at Nielsen Online. She left the company after six years in January.
She was a managing partner at OgilvyOneLondon, where she led the interactive team. She said: “In today’s complex marketing environment the need for quality market intelligence is greater than ever. Beyond the service itself Warc represents a community of industry practitoners who believe that great advertising is based on great insight.”
