ABU DHABI— Opinion pollster Gallup has partnered with The Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi to launch of a social research and analysis centre that aims to serve as a knowledge hub on Muslim societies.
The Abu Dhabi Gallup Center will be led by Dalia Mogahed (pictured), the co-author of ‘Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think’, as director. Gallup analysts will be relocated to support her.
Gallup said that the centre would focus on researching the “attitudes and aspirations” of Muslims around the world and providing insight and analysis on the societal challenges facing the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Mogahed said: “Our vision is for the Abu Dhabi Gallup Center to be a major source for cutting-edge research and foresight on the most important challenges facing Muslim societies today.”
