US— Insight Strategy Group has appointed author and gender marketing specialist Jen Drexler as vice president to study the role gender plays in consumer behaviour.
Drexler (pictured) was previously at qual research and branding agency Just Ask A Woman, which offers clients insights on how women behave as consumers. Before that she was a researcher at trend forecasting and marketing consultancy Faith Popcorn’s BrainReserve.
She has also held positions with Nike Communications and Ketchum Communications and co-authored a book on what marketers can learn from women.
Stacy Mattias, Insight Strategy Group CEO, said: “Jen has done truly groundbreaking work in helping marketers cultivate a deep understanding of how gender identity comes into play when impacting consumers’ relationships to brands.
“Jen’s singular anticipation of trends, her willingness to ask hard questions and her perceptive insights have collectively earned her a well deserved reputation as one of the field’s most compelling experts. She will contribute immensely as we build on Insight’s thriving practice in this area.”
