GfK has acquired an agricultural consultancy and opened two Australian offices as it expands its agricultural and animal health research interests in APAC.
The global research company has bought agriculture research firm Paterson Consulting and opened offices in Sydney and Melbourne for its animal and crop health (ACH) team.
The Melbourne-based team includes Will Paterson, previously MD of Paterson Consulting, who becomes director of ACH while Bob Sloane (pictured) heads up the Sydney office as ACH director.
In addition, Stephen Wentworth will serve as senior research manager for ACH in the region and the expanded group will report to Ai Chen Kueh, head of ACH in Asia Pacific.
Kueh said: “With these moves, we are making a strong statement about GfK’s commitment to serving the needs of this blossoming industry in the APAC market.”
