GERMANY/US— GfK Healthcare has added a trio of new senior research leaders to head practice areas in Germany and North America.
In Germany, Heinz Ohde has been named division manager for global syndicated services and Marco Rauland has been given the role of head of pricing and reimbursement research.
Ohde’s responsibilities include the development of a new a multi-country treatment tracking system that covers doctors, patients and other healthcare players. He was most recently business development director at Cegedim Strategic Data in France.
Rauland, meanwhile, was previously global head of the pricing, access and reimbursement practice at Genactis.
In the US, Camm Epstein has been appointed market access practice leader. He was previously at healthcare marketing and communications agency MediMedia where he built and led the market research team. He has also had spells with Epstein & Associates Research, the New York City Mayor’s Office and New Jersey’s Department of Health and Department of Human Services.
Gerald Muller, GfK’s global head of development areas, said: “These appointments signal GfK’s commitment to strengthening our capabilities in these important areas which have shown steady growth in recent months.”
