PHILIPPINES— GfK Philippines has appointed 25-year industry veteran Mary Margaret Co Martinez as retail director, where she will be responsible for recruiting new retailers to the firm’s panel, among other tasks.
Martinez (pictured) joins from Nielsen Philippines where she spent nine years, most recently as associate director for retailer services. Over the course of her career in market research she has worked in industries such as durables, sports shoes and apparel, pharma and FMCG.
Benny Villanueva, general manager at GfK Philippines, said: “We are pleased to have Marge on board with us to lead the retailer team in GfK Philippines. Her many years of retail background and experience, especially in a retail market research capacity, will definitely serve her well to take the lead in furthering the company’s partnership with retailers and propel it to a higher level.”
