GERMANY— Survey software maker Globalpark has acquired WP-Experts, which makes rich internet applications and online portals for business, for an undisclosed amount.
Globalpark said it wants to use the Cologne-based firm’s technology to refine its software, improve usability and create a modular product suite that can be integrated into clients’ existing systems.
WP-Experts founder and CTO Oliver Trabert has been given the newly created role of chief technology officer at Globalpark while the firm’s managing director, Frank Michael, takes the role of chief financial and operating officer.
Globalpark CEO Lorenz Gräf (pictured) said: “A key objective in this acquisition has been to increase our agility in adapting our products to anticipate market needs, to help our clients engage customers and employees and gain insights that better drive business performance.”
