UK— Holden Pearmain has called in the administrators after 12 years in business, Research has learned.
Company co-founder David Holden (pictured) confirmed the news in a telephone call. Administrators Anthony Batty & Company were brought in this week.
Holden said he had started up a new company, called Holden Research, which had been appointed by the administrators to work on Holden Pearmain’s ongoing projects.
He said he had retained a number of Holden Pearmain’s staff to work with him, but wouldn’t specify how many, nor would he confirm how many employees had been affected.
Sources told Research that staff received redundancy notices last week. They put the number of Holden Pearmain employees at around 30.
The company was founded in March 2000 by Holden and David Pearmain.
Pearmain left the business in April 2010 and joined Impact Research as director of advanced methods in 2011. Impact MD Darryl Swift, who also previously worked for Holden Pearmain, said: “We were incredibly sad to hear the news this week and wish all former employees all the best in these difficult times.”
Swift said Impact MR had made job offers to three former members of Holden Pearmain’s staff. “We were fortunate to be in a position to do so,” he said.

Following the comment above, we also would like to know how we will receive a open payment from them, or who should we contact in order to receive it?
