UK— IAB Europe and Google have teamed up to launch an online tool that provides advertisers and agencies with information about online purchasing behaviour across 27 countries.
The Consumer Commerce Barometer uses TNS data to deliver information about sales in 36 product categories, including automotive, CPG, finance, media and retail.
Data was collected through online surveys of 2,000 nationally-representative respondents in each market.
Users can pick and choose multiple countries before selecting different verticals to see how likely consumers in each market are to research and purchase products online.
Catherine Borrel (pictured), IAB Europe’s research manager said: “We support this initiative because it will help everyone working in the digital advertising industry understand and compare the different ways consumers behave, both by market and by sector.”
