US— YouGov has appointed Steve Ingledew as managing director of its Definitive Insights custom division in San Francisco.
Ingledew (pictured) was most recently at Millward Brown where he was managing director of the firm’s technology and telecom practice. Before that he was an executive vice president working in the technology sector for TNS North America and served as EVP at Research International’s San Francisco office.
He also worked for Research International in the UK as director of the company’s specialist units in London.
At YouGov he will report to US president Doss Struse, who said: “Steve is an authoritative and well known figure in the IT industry – a major focus for YouGov Definitive Insights. His team building skills and ability to develop bright young minds into outstanding practitioners will be an immense asset to our expanding US operations.”
