US— Australian research agency iPowow has beefed up its management team as part of its expansion into the US.
The firm’s technology allows viewers to give feedback on online videos, for example by voting to say whether or not they agree with a political message.
Mike Loftus has been appointed as chief operating officer and David Ozer becomes chief revenue officer as part of the firm’s plan to penetrate the US market. It has opened a headquarters in Silicon Valley to act as a base for its American operations.
CEO Gary Davis (pictured) said: “The addition of Mike and David will allow us to continue the steady growth we’ve experienced over the last 18 months. Since its formation in Sydney, iPowow has tested its technology successfully with several high profile institutions in Australia. Based on this performance, we are optimistic that this success can be duplicated and expanded in the US market.”
Loftus joins the firm from mobile marketing agency Broadcaster Media while Ozer was CEO of Highroad Entertainment Group.
