UK – Viewing facility business I-view has promoted Sam Grey to managing director for the company’s London branch.
Grey (pictured) has been at I-view since 2013, having previously worked as an actor, including having a key role in the BBC TV drama Casualty.
At I-view, Grey was most recently operations director and helped set up the Viewing Facilities Action Group during Covid-19 restrictions in the UK to make sure businesses in the industry had a voice and could stay financially viable.
Working with Westminster Council, Grey also helped achieve rates relief for viewing facilities, bringing them in line with hospitality and other meeting place venues, with the approach helping to save £1m for viewing facilities across the UK over two years.
In her new role, Grey will focus on client relations and revenue goals for the business.
Bob Qureshi, co-owner and co-founder at I-view, said: “Sam has been an integral part of our company for 10 years now and has been instrumental on our navigating the Covid-19 challenges.
“She is an impressive team leader and demonstrable advocate and role model for women in business. We are excited for the next period in I-view London’s growth.”
