UK— The Joint Industry Committee for Regional Media Research (Jicreg) has appointed Keith Donaldson as its new chief executive, a role he will take up in August.
Donaldson (pictured) joins the organisation from the Newspaper Society, where he has spent five years and is currently head of research and insight.
His media research career includes spells with the Financial Times, BBC World News, MediaVest, Saatchi & Saatchi London and Time Magazine.
Donaldson replaces Roger Holland who is stepping down after a 20-year career with Jicreg.
Chairman Howard Scott said: “The Jicreg chief executive role attracted a number of very high calibre candidates. In appointing Keith Donaldson, we have an outstanding individual. He has an accomplished background in media and media research, and is ideally suited to continue the development of Jicreg as a leading audience measurement organisation.”
