US – The Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) has appointed Kantar’s Anita Watkins to its board of trustees.
Watkins is chief solution leader for Kantar North America’s innovation, creative and qualitative practices.
Alongside other trustees on the ARF board, Watkins will lead research for the marketing and advertising industry, focused on best practices, new measurement techniques and guidance on issues including AI and sustainability.
Watkins was the board chair on the advisory board for Michigan State University’s Master of Science in Marketing Research Analytics Program between 2022 and 2024 and is now a member of the University of Dayton’s School of Business advisory council.
Scott McDonald, chief executive and president of the ARF, said: “Anita is an incredible force for brand growth, and will be an indispensable partner in spearheading next frontier for ARF members and driving the marketing industry forward.”
