US— Knowledge Networks has acquired Garcia Research Associates (GRA), a firm that specialises in researching the Hispanic population in North America.
GRA, which was founded in 1990, has offices in California and an operations centre in Mexico. The firm runs the Cada Cabeza online survey panel – which will be offered to clients alongside the KnowledgePanel Latino sample.
Knowledge Networks said that with the addition of GRA’s staff, the number of people in its Hispanic research team would rise to 15. Knowledge Networks CEO Simon Kooyman (pictured) said: “The need to find ever more sophisticated ways to understand the US Hispanic population – especially those in Spanish-dominant or bilingual households – has been our priority for years.
“GRA shares our focus and our passion for making insights actionable for clients of all types, and Cada Cabeza provides an excellent complement to KnowledgePanel Latino. I am pleased to welcome GRA president and CEO Carlos Garcia and his team to KN.”
