UK — Lightspeed has announced two promotions within the EMEA region: Andrew Van Wezel to vice president of operations and Simon Buckley to vice president of sales.
Van Wezel (pictured), who joined the company 11 years ago, will lead the EMEA region’s operational teams; Buckley, who joined in 2008, will manage Lightspeed’s Kantar sales teams across the region.
"Andrew’s impressive business understanding and passion for strengthening the strategic direction of Lightspeed makes him a valuable addition to our leadership team," said Caroline Frankum, chief executive officer, EMEA at Lightspeed.
"He brings to this new role his years of experience in sampling and research technologies that will enable him to deliver results and innovatively driven operational support.
On Buckley’s promotion, Frankum said: "I'm thrilled to have Simon in this new role which is vital to strengthening the support we provide to our clients.
"Simon’s clear passion and commitment to developing his team, our products and our client servicing reputation and delivery has played a critical role in ensuring that we continue to grow quality-driven client relationships each year."
