UK— Online research agency MedeConnect Healthcare Insight has partnered with Networks in Health, a newly launched alliance of online physician communities, which will give it access to more than 600,000 doctors across Europe.
The alliance was initiated by Doctors.net.uk, the UK-based doctors’ network that owns MedeConnect, and is made up of French communities Egora and La Revue du Praticien; the Spanish and Portuguese communities run by Medcenter; Coliquio, which has members in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and Sweden’s MedUniverse.
Anna Garofalo, MedeConnect’s managing director, said: “Networks in Health presents a unique opportunity to access hundreds of thousands of physicians across Europe. With our pioneering range of online research services and insightful, community-based approach we could not be better placed to capitalise on this exciting development for our clients.”
