US— Mintel Comperemedia, the direct marketing competitive intelligence arm of consumer goods researcher Mintel, has appointed Andrew Davidson as senior vice president.
Davidson joins the firm from Synovate, where he was a vice president. He previously had spells at GfK NOP and Ipsos in the UK.
During his 15 years in the industry, Davidson has specialised in the financial sector, primarily credit card direct marketing.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “Credit card direct mail volume has been declining and as the industry grapples with new regulations, we see fascinating trends developing in the mailbox.
“I am delighted to join Mintel Comperemedia and use my direct marketing and consumer research knowledge to deliver actionable insights to our clients as we move into such a crucial phase for the industry.”
