UK— New York-based research group McCollum Spielman Worldwide (MSW) is partnering with UK agency Insight Engineers to push its brand and communications research approaches in the European market.
Insight Engineers, headed by managing partner Jeff Deighton (pictured), has hired former Ipsos executives Caspar Tearle and Caroline Sharp to work within the newly launched MSW/Insight Engineers Communications Research Solutions division.
Tearle joins from Market Probe, where he spent the past six months. He has also previously worked for JD Power and Ipsos Loyalty. Sharp, meanwhile, is a former Ipsos ASI and Leapfrog Research & Planning executive, who comes to the firm following a brief stint with ICM Research as research director.
“Most clients are asking for grounded insights on how to engage consumers and how to make communications pay in changing times,” said Deighton. “It is very exciting for us and our clients that Insight Engineers now has a proven set of approaches and benchmark metrics available for experienced and sensitive use in Europe.”
MSW is headed by president and CEO Peter Klein, who said the partnership with Insight Engineers was built on “a shared philosophy and understanding on communications research, plus an overlapping client base”.
