ASIA PACIFIC – Omnicom Media Group has hired Arif Mumtaz as director of data analytics for Asia Pacific.
Mumtaz (pictured) has more than 10 years’ experience in data science. He has previously worked at Starcom, GroupM and Initiative.
In this position he’ll report to Guy Hearn, the recently appointed chief product officer for Asia Pacific. Mumtaz will support data and analytics across all Omnicom Media Group’s business units and develop practices, techniques and infrastructure for its clients.
Tony Harradine, CEO of Omnicom Media Group Asia Pacific, said: “As digitisation and automation continue to accelerate in Asia Pacific, the applications of data and analytics are only widening.
