US— Pharma management consultancy Campbell Alliance has launched a new research and analytics business incorporating the promotional and medical audit businesses that it recently acquired from IMS Health.
The new subsidiary, Encuity Research, will be led by Michael Turner, who has been with Campbell Alliance for six years and will serve as general manager.
Campbell Alliance’s parent company InVentiv Health bought some of SDI Health’s audit businesses in January, which regulators said had to be sold for competition reasons when SDI was taken over by IMS Health last year.
Turner (pictured) last served as VP of Campbell Alliance’s brand management practice and previously held market research and analytics roles at MarketRx and ZS Associates.
Campbell Alliance CEO Nader Naeymi-Rad said: “The audit businesses acquired from IMS will be combined with our existing market research and analytics service lines to create a very robust business that will drive accelerated growth for us in the market research segment. In addition, Encuity Research’s services will provide Campbell Alliance and our parent company InVentiv Health with new insights for clients that will enhance our ability to deliver powerful solutions.”
