UK – Media agency PHD UK, part of Omnicom Media Group, has appointed Irin Rahman as its first chief data and technology officer.
Rahman (pictured) was previously global data and digital director at Publicis Groupe, and has also held senior digital and analytics roles at Dentsu, Heineken and Photobox.
At PHD, Rahman will focus on data strategy, analytics, digital transformation and data and technology product innovation, including building PHD’s business intelligence and data visualisation capacity.
Rahman’s appointment follows the recruitment of Ali Reed as chief executive officer in July this year, joining PHD from Essence.
Rahman will report directly to Reed, and will officially join the company later this month.
Reed said “Irin brings deep technical expertise across data strategy, big data solutions and is a leader in her field of artificial intelligence – all of which we are looking to elevate at PHD.
“She has a fantastic track record of identifying clients’ digital needs and delivering innovations that make significant impact in the day-to-day. I’m looking forward to the impact she’ll have on both PHD and our clients’ digital transformation journeys.”
