US— The CW Network, a joint venture between Warner Bros and CBS, has signed up to receive Rentrak’s TV Essentials audience measurement tool and the company’s proprietary information packages, such as Exact Commercial Ratings.
CW Network president Mark Pedowitz said: “In today’s constantly evolving media landscape, precise and stable audience measurement is absolutely crucial. We were drawn to Rentrak because of their larger sample size and believe their service will be complementary and supplemental to what we see today, thereby giving us a more complete picture of The CW’s viewership.”
The Exact Commercial Ratings service was launched late last year and lets advertisers know how many households saw specific adverts over the course of a campaign.
