US— Media measurement agency Rentrak has hired Evan Goldfarb as senior vice president of sales for its Advanced Media and Information division, with responsibility for growing the firm’s ad agency client base.
Evan Goldfarb
Goldfarb was most recently at database marketing strategy firm Merkle where he was sales manager for the firm’s Logic Lab division.
Before his time at Merkle he was director of the entertainment division at The NPD Group and previously had a spell as an executive vice president at Simmons Market Research.
Goldfarb has also held several positions at Scarborough Research, the joint venture between Nielsen and Arbitron.
Cathy Hetzel, president of the Advanced Media and Information division, said: “Agency and advertiser sales represent a key customer group for Rentrak’s continued growth. Evan’s years of experience in working with agencies and segmentation databases make him a perfect fit to expand Rentrak’s database currency initiatives.”
