UK— Schlesinger Associates has promoted Laura Haxton-Wilde to the role of managing director, The Research House. The move comes six years after she joined the firm as a director from GfK Healthcare.
Haxton-Wilde was one of Schlesinger’s first UK appointments and helped to set up the UK office in 2006 after The Research House was acquired by the US firm. She replaces Sue Maldonado, who remains with the Schlesinger Associates group as VP of global marketing.
As The Research House MD, Haxton-Wilde will also oversee the operation of Schlesinger Associates in the UK, including Schlesinger Global Management Solutions.
Steve Schlesinger, CEO of Schlesinger Associates, said: “Laura’s appointment is instrumental in developing our UK capabilities. Laura will be dedicated to continuing to add value to our qualitative services, as well as meeting current and future research needs in our rapidly evolving research environment.”
