US — Research company Shapiro+Raj has acquired social listening analytics, visualisation and engagement specialist MutualMind.
Shapiro+Raj will combine MutualMind’s digital technologies with its current research and strategy products.
“We have worked with MutualMind many times over the years and were always impressed with how they could quickly and efficiently deliver robust social data and rich insight,” said Zain Raj, president and CEO of Shapiro+Raj. “This acquisition allows us to keep our finger on the pulse of consumers and influencers, bridging quantitative and qualitative research in a new way to provide multi-dimensional insights.”
Babar Bhatti, co-founder and CEO of MutualMind, added: “From the beginning, MutualMind’s focus on innovation and agility resulted in pioneering products. Through our intuitive social command centre and adaptive listening social automation engine, we have served global consumer and retail brands, including Kraft Foods, Nestle, Walgreens, American Airlines, BP, MetLife and Hilton.
“We are excited to join Shapiro+Raj and look forward to creating a strong and differentiated offering.”
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
