Snowflake names Emea sales VP

Petter, who started his role earlier this month, will lead Snowflake’s Emea team, and was most recently at Pure Storage, where he helped expand the company in Emea, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

Before his eight years at Pure Storage, Petter spent 11 years at EMC and four years at Cisco, as well as four years in the British Army.

Chris Degnan, chief revenue officer at Snowflake, said: “Our Emea organisation is at an exciting phase as we continue to expand and increase our footprint in the region, and help customers to do more with their data.
