UK—Online panel software provider Globalpark has appointed Boris von Hessen as managing director of its Enterprise Feedback Solutions service.
Von Hessen (pictured) previously founded Speedfacts Online Research, which was sold to online panel firm Toluna in 2005. From there, he became Toluna’s managing director for Germany and a consultant to the firm’s international CEO.
In his new role von Hessen’s main responsibility will be developing Globalpark’s custom panel and community offerings and assisting the management team with operations and strategy issues.
Globalpark CEO Lorenz Graef said: “Boris is one of the most creative minds in online market research and has great expertise in the fields of panels and communities. He is the ideal addition to Globalpark’s management team in this key sector.”
Meanwhile the firm has been named as one of the fasted growing technology companies in Germany by the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, an annual listing of companies based on the percentage of revenue growth over the last five years.
Globalpark came in at number 24 in the list after seeing its revenue grow 422% between 2004 and 2008.
