UK — St Ives Group’s marketing services division saw revenue rise 36% to £31.1m in the first six months of the company’s fiscal year, according to figures published today.
That works out at less than a fifth of total group revenues of £161.7m, however the division is punching above its weight in terms of contribution to group underlying profit – accounting for just under one-third of the £12.2m generated in the first-half.
Marketing services companies owned by St Ives include the research consultancy Incite Marketing Planning, Pragma, Tactical Solutions, Occam and ResponseOne. Yesterday the group announced a deal to buy marketing and technology consultancy Amaze.
St Ives chief executive Patrick Martell said: “We are very pleased to report another strong set of results and further progress in our plan to build a substantial and broadly-based marketing services offering while moving away from the commoditised sectors of the print market.”
