US – Hearst Television has made Kevin Stuart its vice-president, research after working at the broadcaster for the past four years as research director.
Stuart has overseen audience analysis and research across Hearst Television’s 30-station group. Prior to his position in New York, he served in senior research positions at Hearst’s four Florida TV stations – WESH-TV and WKCF-TV, the NBC and CW affiliates, respectively, in Orlando; WPBF-TV, the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach; and WMOR-TV, an independent station in Tampa.
Before he joined Hearst, he was director of research as well as a weather-caster at WKBW-TV in Buffalo.
Jordan Wertlieb, president, Hearst Television, said: "Kevin has emerged as an industry leader in the keystone of our business. His insight from hands-on experience at the local station level prepared him to provide an important voice to the industry’s respected national research organisations. He is the perfect leader to help guide our stations and company into the next generation of audience data."
