CHINA— Synovate has made changes to its senior leadership team in Greater China with a new appointment and two promotions.
The firm has appointed ex-Harris Interactive man Roland Leung as managing director of emerging industries and promoted Jenny Chang and Steve Garton to the roles of managing director of technology and telecommunications and managing director of media respectively.
Leung was most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing in Asia for Harris and will be based in Hong Kong.
Chang will relocate to Beijing from her current position as managing director of Taiwan in June, and the firm said that her replacement will be announced shortly.
Garton is currently based in Hong Kong and serves as global head of media, where he will remain after taking on his new responsibilities. All three roles are newly created.
Elizabeth Wong, CEO of Synovate Greater China, said: “These appointments will allow us to take our client service, industry knowledge and quality to even greater heights. We are delighted to be able to offer this expertise to our clients as they grasp the opportunities presented by doing business in Greater China.”
