UK— Neil Davy has been appointed to the newly created role of commercial director at Synovate.
Davy (pictured) was previously part of Synovate’s global client relations team, and will now be responsible for leading the firm’s development and client relations in the UK.
He started his career in Hong Kong and had spells with WPP and Interpublic-owned research agencies in Taiwan, China and Japan before moving back to the UK five years ago to take the role of global account director at Research International. He moved to Synovate in 2006.
Jill Telford, the firm’s CEO, said of Davy: “He has extensive research experience, most notably in branding, communications and new product research across sectors. Most importantly, he truly understands the business issues of our clients so we in turn can ensure we are matching the right solution and expertise to the right needs to truly bring the best of Synovate to our clients.”
