HONG KONG— TNS has appointed Anita Wong as managing director for Hong Kong, replacing Wander Meijer who will be leaving the firm in January next year.
Wong (pictured) has been with TNS since 2010 and has been responsible for new business development in China and more recently as the Kantar lead for P&G in Greater China.
Before joining TNS she was at Ipsos where she held the role of general manager for the firm’s Hong Kong operation. Earlier in her career she held senior positions with Nielsen.
She will take over from Wander Meijer, who is leaving the firm to pursue “personal projects” in January 2013.
Chris Bonsi, TNS’s CEO for Greater China said: “Anita is highly regarded in our industry, known for her client focus, leadership skills and ability to drive results. Anita’s leadership will be vital in helping us to achieve our goals of delivering excellence to clients across Greater China.”
