UK— Toluna and Medimix have joined the board of the Trust Alliance, the industry group set up to advance healthcare data collection standards. The research firms join at the same time that UniversalSurvey (SurveyHealthCare) becomes a partner.
The companies have signed up to the alliance’s mission to advance industry standards, develop and promote best practices and foster trust in online physician research. They will take part in initiatives such as the “universal blacklist” of potentially fraudulent or bad research respondents, while standardising post-fieldwork reporting in a document published as ‘The Quality Report’.
In addition, all have agreed to be independently audited to ensure adherence to procedures agreed within the Trust Alliance.
The Trust Alliance was set up in November 2011 as a not-for-profit organisation by three founder members – All Global, M3 Inc and Medefield – and now has seven partners.
Henry Gazay, CEO of Medimix International (pictured), said: “Adhering to the Trust Alliance confirms the promise we make to our clients, to allow them to make complex business decisions in total confidence.”
